Thank you all for the comments and the likes. On numerous occasions when I work the stream, I do remove what I call “cemented rocks.” Simply put, these rocks are embedded at the bottom with clay and have not been moved or altered. If the water depth isn’t beyond two feet, I’ll carefully remove it from the bottom with top clay/gravels intact. Once placed on the bank, I then can make a thorough cleaning and place all contents into a pan. Photos 1 and 2 illustrate this with the before and after look. The last photo is the end result of what gold was recovered from this single rock.
Granted not all rocks with clay hold gold. I have found that for the most part, a creamy substance type clay without gravels are the ones that will hold no gold. Still I wash each rock because one never knows.

Very nice work. Congratulations on your finds.

A beautiful cool June day on the claim. Still there is the expected high water with mountain runoff’s but “If gold don’t care,,, I don’t care.” Just being in the woods and hearing the swift ripples in the creek is enough for me. And the gold, well that is the icing on the cake.

Has anyone noticed the piece of Gold by looking straight down from the, In God We Trust on the dime, the first dime pic that it looks a lot like the shape of a gun or is this my imagination?? In God We TRUST & GUN (RIFLE Shaped) God's holy Spirit speaks in many ways--And NO I am NOT a Crazy Jesus Freak! Ma

Why thank you Bob. Plenty of claims still to be had. Gold in most streams in Idaho,,, just got to put in the work and do the research. ;)

Ma Betty, the above mentioned piece of gold certainly does resemble that of a rifle. And the “in God We TRUST & GUN” part, makes it that more meaningful. Love the way you think. Sometime I’ll have to “show and tell” my Idaho lookalike nugget and what I call my Van Halen nugget. Very cool discovery Ma!!(y)

Legend has a GoldFields mode, would love to just hear what that sounds like in case I ever stumble over any pieces….. cool pics!!!!

Thank you for replying & letting me know that I was & am correct in what God's Holy Spirit showed me--what it represents in this time of war--I'm not sure but I do know God is still with us & is still in charge of everything to bring Peace between nations & not WAR because Satan & his demon spirits cause the SINFULNESS infiltrating Evil mankind's' minds but his power is limited by God Almighty, Who rules over the heavens, the earth & ALL CREATION! God Bless you & yours! Ma
