saaweeet....finally....she's a teaser though....S mint mark and no date. second time that exact thing has happened to me, and Ive maybe only found 5 of these in my entire life. This is my first one in years. This place was a farm with some outbuildings, and it really was just a stroke of luck i found it at all, i was randomly swinging, on my way to leave, in an area quite aways from any buildings, just got real lucky.
thats funny you say that because i just found it a few hours ago and i WAS thinking to myself, what was someone doing over here...how did they lose this here. most importantly, did they drop any more???
that type of quarter is the prettiest of all American quarters. You should check out some pics of them in mint state. they are stunning. they have this beautiful banding that goes around the obverse perimeter. very different and cool. in 1925 they changed the design so the date wouldnt wear away so quickly.
I have found seven SLQ'S in my sixteen years in this hobby, and only two have dates 1924-1926 Thats it. Your coin my not have a date but still in nice shape congrats to ya....
