Old house hunt

Nancy and I have managed to get out a couple of times so far this year and have found a productive yard that is giving up a few goodies. This is what I found yesterday.

That's fantastic hunting, sounds like you've got you a nice little honey hole.
I'd get some string and grid that place out.

Yes, very nice finds. You did great Honey! :) Hopefully it will warm up soon and we can go hit it again!

Another trip back gives up some more goodies. The 1919-s merc is much better than the picture shows because it is still wet but grades out a solid XF-40.

Nice finds! But I could swear I found Abe Lincoln's pocket knife. :pinnochio:

Oh wait, maybe it was his "ZINCOLNS".:cry::cry:

One more trip back to the old house. 1917 merc, 1927 wheatie and a safety patrol service award badge.

Wow! You made some incredible nice finds !!

Very nice 1919 Mercury dime. It might even go AU-50

Thanks, it would be close. I need to get a better picture to show it off. It is a little better on the obverse than photograde XF-45 but slightly less detail on the reverse. A pretty one for sure no matter how it's graded.

Yes, very nice finds Honey. I love that School Safety Patrol badge. Now that's a keeper in my book! The old Merc isn't bad either. Good thing someone found it and then "returned to owner". ;) I'm ready to do it again! :twodetecting:

very nice congrats
