Will/is Original Legend Discontinued?

I have mostly decided on the Legend and posts on this forum have been very helpful. At the moment, it's much cheaper than the new Legend 2.

Will the Legend be discontinued now that the more expensive Legend 2 has been released? Would there be any problem in a couple years getting coils or rapairs or other issues if it is discontinued? Even though I won't be using it for several months, I'm wondering if I should get one before they are gone. Thanks.

No Dilek said the original Legend will not be discontinued. By the way I'm selling mine, a little over a 100 hrs. on it. Good price if interested. They are very good detectors. Been using the Manticore so have no need for it. Good luck.

The New Legend is an improved Legend. I seriously doubt that the Original Legend will miss targets that the New Legend 2 identifies. New doesn’t always equal better.

I prefer 60 vdi over 99, prefer the shaft setup on original over the L2 which is going to rotate 360 degrees, also the L2 will have that plastic cheap feeling handgrip..all of these equinox characteristics don't appeal to me, I have a 700.
