Confederate Louisiana Pelican Feeding cuff button :super:

Found this cuff button late yesterday evening at one of my favorite permissions. Looks like a Confederate Louisiana Pelican Feeding cuff button! Was using my Makro Kruzer (14kHz) with the 7" concentric coil.. Button was only about 3" deep and read a "31-33" among a lot of scattered iron. I...

    Makro Kruzer shaft coupling splitting?

I have had problems with not only the Makro Kruzer but also with the Nokta Fors Relic lower shaft couplings splitting when interchanging lower shafts. Has anyone else experienced this? The upper couplings seem to work fine...but maybe because they are not used as much? Thanks. Charles :usaf...

    Kruzer scores Barber Half....:super:

My single frequency (14KHz) Makro Kruzer scored this 1908 (New Orleans mint) Barber Half for me this morning at our city park. Only 4 inches deep...running in 3-tone...89 sensitivity. I was using the 7" concentric coil. Put a big smile on my face! BTW...sorry about the pic quality...I'm...

    Another Deus find...

The old ghost town also gave up a couple more targets at another spot this weekend. I believe this to be a Civil War era "sword hook" and a lead gunpowder plug?

    Deus finds small cache

The weather was perfect here in South Texas...time to get out and search a permission a friend of mine had. As we drove up to the old ghost town site nothing out of the ordinary gave a hint that something once stood there. As a matter of fact most folks would just drive pass it without a...

    Best underwater headphones for Kruzer?

Any ideas or comments? I thought I saw a write-up about some different brands? Anybody have any recommendations? Thanks! Charles :usaf: :usaflag:

    My Galveston finds...

Not much to blush  about but had great fun with the Kruzer in the semi-dry sand on a Galveston beach this past weekend. That gold glitter sure pops out at ya when you see it laying in the pile of sand you just dug out. None of it is marked so I guess it's just bling...but it was...

    Galveston Island trip! :detecting:

Maybe some of the locals can help me? I am planning a mini vacation to Galveston this weekend (8/10-12) and would like to do some water hunting while I am there. I have a Kruzer which I have never gotten wet and also a Nox 600. What are some of the beach rules concerning metal detecting on...

    Pairing ?

I have a WS4 that has ver. 5.0 already installed. I want to pair it with my older 9" LF coil that still has ver. 4.1 in it. My question is how to install Ver. 5.0 on my 9" LF coil if I do not have the remote? Thanks! Charles :usaf: :usaflag:

    Waterproof headphones? :|

Anybody know when the Makro waterproof headphones will be available and... if they already are...where I can get a set? Thanks. Charles:usaf: :usaflag:

Deus finds with 9" HF coil

Some of my Deus finds with my new 9" HF coil. Finds were made in an old ghost town in South Texas dating back to the mid 1800's. I run the 9" HF coil at 28.8 KHz most of the time using the Basic program with full tones. It's my favorite frequency so far. Thanks. Charles :usaf: :usaflag:
