    6” DD Coil

Am already considering the 6 “ DD coil for my new Equinox 600. Feedback on depth difference compared to stock coil appreciated.

How many of the older members metal detect wearing hearing aids and what problems have you had doing this?

    M6 coils

Since I kinda put metal detecting on the back burner, I sold my most used detector but am keeping my M6 for occasional hunts and lostmystuff hunts if needed. Since the M6 was my backup detector it just has the stock concentric coil and I have always done better with DD coils. Previously when I...

    Coming back to White's

It will be my backup detector, but gettng a new M6 to be my second detector. Due to physical problems, the Deus will remain my main detector but glad I'm getting a M6 again as a backup/spare detector. The ML S just didn't work for me.

    coils

Anyone use both the Whjite's 6X10 DD coil and the 6X8 SEF Butterfly coil to offer a good comparison?

Might be proof of the XP Deus durability

Just got my DVD of Roger using the Deus. While nothing groundbreaking, it is a good DVD for viewing entertainment as well as a few tips. What is impressive is where and how he is using it.

First hunt with my new used Safari...silver

Recently traded a used V3I on a used Safari for the K.I.S.S. philosophy because the V3I had too many adjustments to confuse me when I would go back to my XP Deus. So today I figured I'd do a short hunt at a place loaded with clad that I have access to hunt because I knew I'd find coin VDI's and...

    Conductive or Ferrous tones

I'm on my second Safari, got it to be a backup machine since it is a simple to operate machine yet has a lot of potential. I was reading about the differences some say they can hear between conductive vs. ferrous sounds. Tried them on a silver dime, silver quarter, clad dime and clad quarter as...

Can someone check this for me

I recently came back to a Safari by trading in a V3I. I was doing some coin testing and this has me stumped. A silver dime and silver quarter come in where I expected, reading about 38. So then I test my 1921 Morgan silver dollar and it reads 32. On every other machine I tried doing this test...

What do you do with your degraded zincolns

Getting ready to take my clad for the year to the coin machine, but what do you do with your badly deteriorated zincolns?

Everyone be careful this time of year

For you guys and girls who put your metal detectors away to game hunt, have a safe hunting season. For the diehard metal detectorists, be careful in fields and woods especially now. Let's make sure we're all back here for next year.

    Hunting sreason

Now that some are putting up their dirt hunting for game hunting, be careful when venturing out in the fields and woods so you do not find yourself in the path of a bullet. All you hunters have a safe hunting season and all the diehard metal detecting hunters, try to stay out of these areas so...

    Format change

Why did they change the format, I liked the old style much better. Terrible idea in my opinion.

Just something to keep in mind

Hunting my go to clad grounds which has yielded some silver coins plus some silver rings but yet no gold rings and this is in a pool area. This morning after digging good signals, I got a 70 using a 12 Khz program. My wedding ring comes in at 70 so I thought I'll dig it but it probably is a pull...

Do you get confused by VDI's of machines

I understand that tones are first, but do you get confused when using different machines with different VDI scales when going back and forth between machines?
