    There is a significant global microchip shortage going on right now. Its impacting everything from cell phones to automobiles and I would not be surprised at all if XP were also effected.

    I’ve been away ... V4 upgrade to 5.2?

    I went ahead an updated. Seems to work fine. Hoping to get some time outisde over the weekend. I know some people reported a loss in sensitivity going from 3.2 to 4 so hopefully thats not an issue with 5.2

    Coil vs another detector? :jump:

    I use my XP for everything and my old detector is used by my wife and kids.... i have the 11" Deus coil but was thinking having a small coil might help me when the trash gets thick..... So my options 1) wait for the new small coil ($500-ish) or 2) get a different detector with a small 5" round...

    Glen Oak Park

    has anyone ever hunted Glen Oak? I was out there the other day and found a bunch of old trails in the woods that have fallen apart and grown over.....some old concrete and stone bridges etc. anyone ever go out there? may have to hit that up one of these days after work

    This weekend I hunted some property that the previous owner told the current owner used to have a "cannon ball factory" in the 1800's. In the illinois river valley, i found that to be a little unlikely, but I gave it a shot! I dug around the old foundations but didnt find any cannon balls...
