Just curious about what your expectations are when considering to buy a metal detector, from both experienced and who just started detecting.

For those thinking about getting in, anything better than the cheap Chinese amazon junk is a great starting point. Also the understanding that it IS a hobby and you will get out of it exactly what you put into it effort-wise. A $1600 machine finds nothing in the back of a closet. Plenty of great...

    Waterproof Headphones For Equinox

Both great options, cant go wrong either way. Build quality, tonal quality and clarity slightly better in Grey Ghosts in my opinion. Patriot's are a more snug fit for faster moving water. Both great for rainy days also. Hope this helps, JJ

    Manticore w/ 9in. coil depth.

You nailed it perfectly. It reminds me so much of the performance of the 8x6 sef but even deeper. If you could only own one coil, this would be my choice. JJ

    Old woods still produce

Thank you, research has been so limited on this spot beyond the 1920's but she keeps giving up her secrets. I thought the 1880 Morgan, same amount of wear, from this area was a fluke but not so sure now. JJ
