    Omega on the beach?

    I want to buy an Omega and mainly use it on land but I would also like to try in on the Oregon Coast and hit the beach. How does it do in the salt water and dry sand? Any tips for using it on the beach?

    Tot lot

    There was a break in the rain so I took my 505 to a tot lot in a small town nearby for an hour and found $2.76 in clad and a Mexican Cinco Centavos coin dated 1963. The 505 is almost always right on for the value of the coin but the depth was reading deeper that the coins were actually at.

    There is gold in those soccer fields

    Spent an hour at my favorite soccer field and found small gold necklace piece with Mary on it. There is writing on the clasp but with my old eyes I can't read it all can read MEX. This is my first gold find with the Tesoro Deleon. Actually my first gold find period.
