    identifiing targets by tone sound.

    Greetings I have using my etrac now for 3 years and have found my share of decent targets. I have read that some can identify good targets by the sound of the tone I myself have not really mastered how.     nice hunt yesterday

    I went out for a while at my well hunted site, I was able to find 3 wheat in one hole and my first liberty head nickel ( V nickel) dated 1903 not real good on condition but a first for me. Wish I knew how to load a picture.

    chioce of coil use

    This summer I am going to search some local parks for rings and jewelry. I have the 6 inch and 9 inch high frequency coils, which of these 2 coils might be the better choice to hunt with? Thanks for any input

    thought about my new 6x8 sef coil?

    Would it matter which side you would choose to locate your coil cable on the lower shaft? My cable fits thru the shaft if I go to left side of the machine, but it looks like it is on backwards due to the sef logo that is on the coil.
