    Dual Field Coil Application Questions.

Would I be able to put my TDI coil on my GoldQuest SS v2? On my Barracuda, what would it entail to install a Surf PI Dual Field coil on the ol'Cuda ? Are they all interchangeable? :beers: HH PennyFinder

    Threshold Audio Frequencies

I've always appreciated the adjustable threshold audio frequency adjustment on the ol' Garret GroundHog and Deepseeker detectors, where you could set it to a less annoying frequency to listen to, for prolonged detecting sessions. Pondering that thought, wouldn't it be nice if a keen detector...

Does the Original Lobo and the Lobo SuperTrac share the same coils? HH PennyFinder

    Garrett S2

Anybody still use the 50khz. S1 or S2 American TR? Seems it would be great ignoring small iron masking and sensitive to gold much like the Compass 77B TR is renown for. Whites and Compass settled on the 50khz frequency for their gold machines. PennyFinder

    Stingray II

The other day I picked up a Stingray II as I heard they were quite gold sensitive, and yes it is. It also has a TR mode which I thought would be useful for prospecting in and around water. Does anybody know which machine was sported out with bathing attire and is the basis of the StingRay II...

    Question For Dave J.

Recently, I picked up an orphaned Radio Shack Discovery 3, part number 630-3008 , that I just had to adopt. There is some reference on the net, that this is basically a copy of George Payne's Big Bud Pro SED, is that correct? Currently, which Bounty Hunter do you folks manufacture is as...

Just got a 11" biaxial for my Gold Bug SE

This coil should make a tremendous beach hunter out of the GB SE for micro gold in the dry sand. The coil looks identical to my F75 and the T2. I know you can't mix them up but how can you tell the difference? Is there a ohm reading on the pins I could use? Guess I'll have to label them, sure...

    CZ 3" Round Coil

Any of you long time CZ owners ever hear of a early 3" round coil for the CZ? I know there is the 5" round coil but I think I have a 3" incher I found in a box of old coils from dealer's spring cleaning. PennyFinder

    Can Scorp's Dad join in?

Here's a pic of my A3B American sporting a 10.5" Round Coil. Scorp is always asking if he can take the 10.5 out for a spin! :super: PennyFinder :garrett::garrett::garrett::garrett::garrett::garrett::garrett::garrett:

    Just bought a Garrett A3B

It came with the 8" Crossfire Supreme Goldhunter coil. The A3B operates better in heavy mineralization with the newer Scorpion DD Eliptical coils: http://www.goldminingcentre.com.au/articles/A3B.html The 8" Goldhunter coil is a killer coin/ring coil on the Scorpion I hear, can't wait to try it...
