    Found a new site to hunt yesterday...

    Took a walk in the woods yesterday and went farther than I had intended to, but glad I did. I stumbled on this old house site and it doesn't appear to have been hunted as I saw none of the usual signs some people leave behind, HOLES. I had noticed an old grown up narrow road earlier in the day...

    Glad to see everyone made it through the snow storm OK,

    Our power just came back on about an hour ago,:clap: we've been on the generator since Sat. morning and that was getting expensive:ranting:I was burning through twelve gallons of gas a day. We only got about four inches of snow here and the power was off for three days. Kinda makes me wonder...

    Old bridge..

    While out of one of my excusions I found these remains of an old bridge in the creek. How old do you suppose this is? The road leading from it was grown up in timber at least 16" or more in diameter.

    Sold some gold jewerly today that I had found over the years...

    I got $18.00 per gram for the 14k and $13.50 per gram for the 10K. I sold 189.4 grams, bought myself a new Sprinfield 1911 45 semi-auto pistol with some of the money and I reckon the rest will go for xmas this year.     Ice, ice and more ice...

    Woke up this morning to 4" of snow and now freezing rain. About 1/2" of ice on the snow and it's still coming down. Electric will likely go off soon, darn I hate this stuff, thinking about moving down to Elson's neck of the woods. We went through this in 03 and they said it was a once in a life...
