    Some silver, gold and nickels

This site we pounded for about 4 years. Since the Equinox has come along we have found another 20 old coins from this park. I am going to go back again and again as there is a massive field that needs dug. There is some really deep signals that need dug as well. Love the Equinox.

    Some silver, gold and nickels

Last week decided to hit the lake again. Found 4 wheats and a war nickel in the same areas I’ve been hitting. Today was a bit windy but hit a country church and got a wheat and that was it. Headed to a park in my dads hometown that used to be the grade school. We’ve found hundreds of coins out...

Finds keep piling up this month

Went to a farm field we’ve been to about 30 times and have pulled over 15 Indians, about 10 V and shield nickels and a barber dime. Only found a shield nickel last year. This time I got a 1901 V nickel a no date V nickel a no date Indian and a 1944 wheat penny. Headed down to the 1870’s church...

Arrow head, civil war and 2 cent piece!

Well today was a grand day.... for my dad! We headed out to a permission he got for us about 20 minutes away. A field where a house from 1873 stood. Most likely a much older house before that as well. Started off real slow with a wheat and some clad by the driveway or where it used to be. I hear...

    15" Coiltek coil first hunt.

Very interested to see your result on the coin hunting as I have dug wheats and indians 9 -12 inches deep with the 11 inch coil as the dirt here is very nice and black and has little to no mineral issues. Thought about ordering the coil but will wait to see your results tomorrow on the deep coin...

Round 2 at the lake today

Nope out here at this lake there has never been any chemicals put into the ground. The dirt out here is as black and as nice as you could want.

Round 2 at the lake today

Due to the oak trees out here and the acid from their roots really hits the pennies hard.

Round 2 at the lake today

Went home and got lunch and headed straight back out there. Started off digging everything and finding nothing but pull tabs. Finally found some coins here and there and got that nice deep nickel signal. Out pops a Buffalo. 3rd of the day. 1925 and after that got a 1935 and a 1941 wheat. And a...

Another great day out at the lake

Headed out to the lake again today since it will be raining the next week. Decided to hit an area between 2 trees and a grand stand. Hard to beep here as people are always around. But 48 degrees and a wind kept them home. Started off with a really nice Buffalo nickel 1929 and about 10 feet away...

1940’s Lake always full of surprises.

Thank you! Somedays out there are great and other days I never get a number over 17. Still can't figure out what gold sounds like on this machine but it sure loves nickels.

1940’s Lake always full of surprises.

College classes canceled and work taken care of off I headed to the lake here in town where I’ve been a few hundred times. Started on the big hill that before last year was layered with trash. Worked an area I have done a few times and found some zinc pennies and a bunch of tabs looking for...

Some nice finds and a killer relic!

Nope found the marbles out laying in the field as you can see from the pictures. This place we have probably found at least 15 over the years.

Some nice finds and a killer relic!

Thank you! I just assumed it was a watch fob but a pin makes much more sense. Wonder how it ever got down here.

Some nice finds and a killer relic!

Being in the 70’s here today Dad and I had to get out. Hit 2 fields and my great great grandparents lot where their house used to be. We have hit all 3 of these places before. First field got a clad dime and a wheat. Second field we got 4 wheats, a 1937 Buffalo and 5 marbles. Lastly stop was the...

1st time out in 2021 success!

Thank ya. Most of the parks around here are hammered but not sure they have been hit with a Minelab yet. Can't believe the places I have gone back over with the Nox 800 and there are just coins all over the place. The target separation on this machine is unreal.
