    Went out with ELMY for a short hunt at a picked apart church camp. Everybody with a detector comes here. We tried his new Magic program, We went 10 good targets and only 2 aluminum targets.     Gave the 1-10 pattern a test today...

    I did not look at the depth meter or for that fact the target information just got a good signal both ways and dug. Purely turns into a beep and dig detector. At one time I was 5 coins for 7 holes. If it was not for small can slaw it would have been beter.

    New 4 kz

    Yesterday I was out with the Equanox after downloading the update running 4kz. This was a place with more trash but center of town so should be coins. Running Park 1 .     New 4 kz update

    Downloaded update and had a chance to go out today. Probably trashiest place around but has to have coins. Ran 4 kz and it was so noisy I took Sen. Down to 15. Park 1. Adjusted to multi tone and I thought my head phones stopped working.Adjusted sen. To 24 it was just that smooth running.

    Hopefully somebody would validate my assumption that has more time on the 600 than me. After all 68 year o!d ears are not very sharp. My Grandpa used to say if he thought he would live this long he would have taken more care of his body. Thank you so much for your responce.

    I am new to the Equanox 600. My problem is I am used to running a Fisher 1265. Turn up the discrimination for your hunting area and hunt. Every thing that sounds good DIG. With the 600 and 50 tones after a while my brain hurts. After even 5 tones it's just too much. What would I be missing with...

    My past experience with detecting was with a Fisher 1265. Found a lot without a meter only sounds. Now I have an Equanox. After reading on this forum I see that you cannot always depend on the VDI numbers. Would I be better to hunt old Fisher style? Can't wait to break it out. Only trouble is...
