    Can anyone tell me which tone setting uses the least amount of the Deus' processing power? No, I don't mean battery power, I guess I mean which tone setting takes the least time for the machine to process.

    The best way to disc is with tones only. No loss of depth. You can set any ranges of vdi's you want to any tones you like.

    I've never been underwater with a detector so I'm wondering - if you go under without headphones can you hear the speaker. Talking about quiet fresh water,not surf or flowing water.

    Disc/Depth

    As near as I can tell from other posts and from my own experience, if what you're after is just depth, the less disc the better, down to and including none at all. Is that always true or am I missing something.

    I bought mine in Quartzite and used it in AZ a lot. Found a lot of coins and other stuff. Not good for gold nuggets, at least not the small stuff normally found.
