    Thoughts on coil wrap

    I have wrapped my coil in Mcnett's self cling camo wrap until Garrett releases the open coil cover, making sure that I ended the each piece of wrap on top of the coil so that the ground cannot catch an edge and undo it.     A few finds from a short Sunday hunt in a park I have never hunted. Classic 12:38 penny signal yielded a nice Tiffany 925 ring.     Hit the beach

    Hit the beach last night for under 2 hours around the "towel line" and came away with some coinage and a "#1 Grandma" 14k necklace charm. First beach hunt with the 17" coil was a success. Charm hit at 12:12.

    School Yard Find

    Found this bracelet this evening in a school yard. Inside says "R-114 925 Mexico". Not sure what the R-114 means. I believe the rim around the edge of the bracelet is actually brass. The bracelet came in at 12:43 and I believe that is because of the brass rim.

    BAM....waterproof propointer for the CTX

    Propointer in a vacuum sealed bag, although not vacuumed, just sealed for 2 reasons: You can not turn it off once you turn it on due to the vacuum, and with a bit of air in there....it floats! Good luck.
