    I’d be careful with that because it will put undue stress on the optosite side and break the ear. I order to snug up against the shaft the ear has to bend inward and too much SNAP. Read my first post to take up the slack / play in the coil..my fix spacers the rubber washer out so the coil ear...

    Dave I also have the ear stiffeners and they are great but they don‘t solve the looseness of the shaft between the coil ears but adding the spacers behind the washers snugged them up and like I said the bolt doesn’t have to be so tight. Their just an added bonus. Doug

    Sub , it ID at a solid 14 it was inbedded in the roots of grass down about 3” and the clasp was closed like the pic shows. But being only 10-1/2” I don’t think it could be an adult unless the he had a pencil neck. I don’t usually dig 14 but it was just too solid of a signal.

    Headphone questions for the Equinox

    yes it cost more for the 800 , But you get the wireless headphones and the WM08. So you can go wires or as I do I use the WM08 with a set of earbuds or it can be used with wired heads. If you add the WM08 for $$$ . Why not just upgrade to the 800 with the options and all the bells and whistles...

    Thanks Jeff. When I noticed the squiggly line on the screen I knew right away why the TDI kept dropping out . I had the same problem with my Xterra 70 for years so that is why I knew to look to see if the auto track was on. For that reason I never use auto track . Doug
