    I just purchased a brand new Big Bud Pro!!!!!

    It had never been put together and its beautiful. I put batteries in it and I can't believe how powerful this unit is. Its so nice I don't want to hunt with it. It air tests better than several of my much more expensive detectors and the tones are probably the best I've heard on any detector...

    Fisher CZ-6 w/3 coils $315 shipped

    This detector is in excellent condition and everything functions perfectly. The only reason for the low price is because it is the 4 pin configuration. It also has the headphone pigtail for use with your headphones. I will not go any lower as this detector is worth a lot more than this price...

    I just sold my Etrac because my V3 has proven at least for me that it is far and away the more versatile detector. Maybe I got a hot one but it is just super fun to use and finds silver in hard hunted spots. I've messed around with all the settings and to be honest I've found the stock programs...

    Has anyone tried a Fisher F2 coil on an F5?

    I was just curious if it would work. I know the Omega coils can be used on the G2 and the khz are pretty far apart. They are much closer on the F2 and F5. Or are they so different inside that it wouldn't work? Any info would be great. Thanks, Shane

    What can cause a detector to maintain its threshold but lose the ability to detect targets?

    I'm curious because I have a detector that does this on occasion. I do not want to send it in for repair because I can't afford to right now and it isn't under warranty. Does anyone have an idea what can cause this and a possible fix without having to send the detector in for an expensive...

    First Etrac silver today.

    I have found plenty of clad and have a good setup on the Etrac so I knew if I got over silver I would not be disappointed. Me and my hunting buddy went to an old drive-in that has been absolutely pounded by just about every make of detector for the last 2 years. There are plenty of low tones...

    Anyone using the 8 in. concentric for the Etrac

    I believe its a Detech coil. I just wanted to know if the target sounds are the same with the concentric. How about the duration of the signal length of tone etc...On some of my other detectors I can tell if I have a coin sized target by the size of the tone but I'm having trouble on the Etrac...

    I just completed my first Etrac hunt and I have some??????

    I dug maybe 5 coins and they were all 1960's and 1970's lincoln memorials. They rang-in at 11-40 or 12-39,40. I believe that is normal but I got several 12-43,44,45's that ended up being screw caps. My question is do screw caps usually sound like and id as silver dimes or am I doing something...

    WTB Fisher CZ with extra coils

    I am looking for a good buy on a CZ as long as it isn't the CZ-6. The CZ can show signs of use as long as its a good solid performer. If you don't hav extra coils I'd prefer either the 5 in. or 10.5 in the deal. Thanks, Shane

The vast majority of these newbies will have no regard for the code of ethics that true hobbyists follow religously. This in turn causes parks to close and private land...
