Replacing the internal Kruzer battery in the long run. An alkaline battery question as well.

I know some of the other manufactures of amphibious detectors with an internal Li-PO battery, have come out and said in the long term the internal battery can be replaced. Does Makro, also offer internal battery replacement in the long term of ownership? And in regards to the ad on alkaline...

CORS Fortune 9.5″ x 5.5” for the SOV GT.

Hello everyone. How would you rate the build quality, sensitivity, depth, maneuverability, and target separation of the Cors fortune coil, against other similar sized coils such as the Sunray S-8 Thanks in advance. HH Jason

Volume control adjustment on the Sovereign GT.

For many years I have run my GT at full volume and adjusted the loudness via headphones. Recently having my GT volume control accidently set at 3 o'clock, I noticed a better "sweetness" to the audio. It was as if the separation between target id tones was "tighter". I didn't notice any depth...

A few Multi Kruzer questions. Zincs & copper pennies, modulation, and waterproof headphones.

I am very excited about the Multi Kruzer. I just want to ask a few questions before I release the hammer. Does the machine have a good enough target id spread between zincs and copper pennies? Are the waterproof headphones inbound soon? How is the target modulation? Does it do a good job of loud...

What a great reveal and launch.

Throughout my years as a forum member and my 30+ years of detecting, I have made some constructive criticism towards many manufactures without bias. Criticism that is not so much about the performance of a particular machine, but criticism geared towards a company's lack of intelligent detector...

Thanks MAKRO for making the choice easy now.

I am so impressed with what Makro and Nokta have achieved since they have been focusing on their hobby division of metal detectors. The features and MSRP of the Makro and Nokta machines must be a tuff pill to swallow for the other manufactures. The user reviews and videos are the factors that...

    My plans for the Equinox.

It looks like I will be leaning towards holding off on the Equinox due to possible launch bugs and or hardware flaws. Come on guys and gals, we all know what accompanies a new detector release. Bugs, flawed coil hardware, battery housing/hardware issues, leaky units, etc. Can you imagine at the...

I am looking forward to the Equinox.

I have been a Sovereign user since 1995. All of my Sovereigns through the years have done everything I need a detector to do. I have dabbled in just about every top end machine for years and never was impressed enough to make a jump from my Sovereign GT to another machine. However, the Equinox...

The legend of BBS and the introduction of the Equinox.

I have been burned by other machines but saved by the Sovereign series starting in the 1990s . Nothing since the Sovereign (in my opinion) has been versitile enough to compete with the versatility of a Sovereign. In saying that, the Equinox looks to complete the versatility of a Sovereign to...

    price and wireless

Might have missed it but is it wireless. And we are all wondering the suggested MSRP I keep hearing affordable. Fingers crossed. HH Jason

3rd party coils, shafts, headphones AT MAX

Are the control box dimensions the same as the at pro in order to use the Anderson AT pro upper and lower shafts setup? Grey Ghost Amphibians, NEL, Mars, and Cors search coils? Thanks in advance

Weekdays or weekends. Your favorite times to detect.

I work 3rd shift so once in a while I can do a couple hours of inland detecting when I get out of work at 7am. I end up crashing, :goodnight: then the next thing I know is that the wife is calling to announce " I'll be in the driveway in three minutes with the groceries so be outside...

Who can't stand detecting in the heat.

I can detect the beaches of New England in the dead of winter in search of jewelry and Spanish Reales. But when there is no breeze and the sun is blazing, I am all set. Anyone else? HH Jason

    Ergonomics of the MX-Sport

I have been all over the forums of different brands firing off questions left and right. It is just that I am in the throws of new detector choosing insanity. I think I am driving my wife nuts as well. Anyway the MX Sport is in the final running and I wanted to ask about the ergonomics of the...

Difference All metal Zero disc AT MAX

If the AT mAx all metal mode is a motion all metal mode, then wha is the difference between the two modes. From the video the threshold is available in the zero disc mode which is traditionally a motion disc mode. Thanks in advance HH Jason

All metal mode on the MX Sport ?

From the way I am reading things is that if you turn off SAT in the MX Sport all metal mode it will turn into a NON MOTION all metal mode. Is that correct? Or is the default all metal mode on the Sport NON MOTION by default? Thanks in advance. HH Jason

Curious about the "flagship" status of the GTI 2500

The AT series including the MAX are great performers. Garrett is touting newer electronics and features of the AT-MAX, which I think is great. However, one must wonder if Garrett still considers the 2500 as their flagship? The GTI platform is twenty years old. Just curious about the status of...

    We are dreaming it.

I am in the process of choosing my next machine and I am sure many can relate to the insanity. One thing I do need my next machine to be is amphibious. So many times detectorists have had planned detecting days shut out by rain. I would love to go detecting in some of my favorite public places...
