    Congrats on your first gold ring and it’s a nice one! I like the beaded edges, nice buttery color. Do you think you could have found it with your previous detector, or do you credit the Legend with finding that one? Either way, finding that first one breaks the ice and now you will find more.

    Silver is silver whether it is rings or coins, both are fun to find. Silver rings that are marked 925 are 92.5 % silver, while the silver coins are 90 % silver. I seem to find more silver rings than silver coins. That would probably be the other way around if I started searching private...

    Thanks Knsmokey, water hunting is a nice change of pace from land hunting for me. I think there is less competition (in general) when hunting water so the potential is there for some great finds.
