    They used to make a device called the depth master, it went between the detector and headphones. It simply amplified the signal to the headphones, still have one somewhere, it is just a pre-amp.

    Minelab Pulse induction coils

    I have a coiltek 18x12 gold seeker and a 15x 4 Joey coil. These are for the GPX or SDC series detectors. The gold seeker is new, never used. The Joey coil has been used 6 - 8 times $125 for the Joey coil, shipped, and $140 for the gold seeker shipped.

    I've sold and shipped several detectors , some were as little as $22 and my PI was about $35. The prices you were given is if you are able to sell them on a forum, if they go to ebay expect much less, then you take it in the shorts with the fees.
