    Slightly unusual find

    Very cool find, congrats. I like it ! Always a treat to see someone with a little ingenuity make another use of a coin. ie washers, whizzzers, buttons or love tokens. I once found a wheat penny that had been made into a weight of some sort. Again, well done and congrats. Mark

    I think the ones he uses are called Avantree torous. I saw them on Amazon but they are slightly more than 50 bucks. I did see a post on Detector Prospector about APX ll bone conductors.     I'm with you Picketwire, I use the vibration only feature. It doesn't attract attention and prolongs the battery life. All that extra connection stuff is just more to fiddle with and another thing that can break. Keeping it simple is the way to IMO.

    Those are the ones I bought. You got a better deal. I paid 15 something for them. They fit perfect, seem to be very scratch resistant. More like a phone cover. Don't pull the factory cover till you are ready to put the new cover in place. Good luck. Mark
