    Sube, did you find a replacement power management board for the battery on Ebay? Taltexan, see my pm. I and another guy tried to repair this board but its hopeless as the chip has to be programmed with a charge profile. So we are left with good cells but bad pack.

    if you haven’t replaced the battery ever then it’s the issue. Buy new cells for it and rebuild it. Dont toss it as the circuit board is valuable if it works.... They die too.

    Try aluminum foil over the control pod just to see if it quiets up. Read another guy say it does - might indicate a bad shield connection in the housing.

    I tried the TDI Beach Hog on my Extreme. Worked great but when it overloaded because getting to near my scoop there was a nasty sounding low frequency oscillation dounfing like the front end frying. Turned everything off and back on and all is good. I’m using a nuggetfinder amp and a buck...

    I discovered the rear of my Spectrum XLT's display pod cover is broken and the rest hanging from a ribbon cable. I don't see an obvious way to separate the cover from the front cover piece. Are there hidden screws, or do I pry and snap if off - what's the trick? Also I you know of a spare rear...

    Excalibur running down batteries too fast

    You might have a poor battery connection somewhere that creates a voltage drop. Measure the current to see if it is normal. If so, measure the voltage right at the board to see if it is the same as across the battery.

    Cleansweep coil

    I have a Tejon that is in such great shape, with 3 coils. I mainly beach hunt though so I got other detectors for the beach. But now the beaches have been lacking targets and the best shot is the dry. I wonder if it is worth searching for a Cleansweep for it for the dry. Would be a lighter setup...
