    Got a better coil fastener?

    The plastic coil fastener on the CTX is a pain. Sand gets in it plus mold artifacts make it hard to cinch up. It is so close to the coil its hard to get a good grip on. I'm wondering if anyone has found a better solution.

    I found some 2" acrylic rod to turn for a diy endcap but I found this 1.25" pvc plug that has possibilities too. What do you think?
