    Titanium tones

A co-worker of mine asked me to try to find his titanium wedding band. Anyone have any idea what tones I should be listening for? Thanks in advance, Steve

    yields my first Barber quarter.

    No clue???

Solid brass and the same size as a half dollar. I'm wondering if it could be a wick knob from a fancy oil lamp:shrug:

Two more from a very small park

Tree roots forced me to use my screwdriver to extract the merc but the rescue was a success. The ring reads "CHINA .925"

More shiners from a friend's yard.

Mid 1800's home. I was hoping for something older but I can't complain.

    C/N 3 center

found this in a hole with four indian heads. Would have never dug it otherwise, it hit like canslaw. Found these coins along the shoulder of a long forgotten stage coach trail in the middle of the woods.

Friday the 13th is my lucky day...

Hit a new "pounded park' , very trashy but has lots of potential. I'll definitely be heading back.

    1909 VDB

Found at the old home place. When I was a youngster I remember having a 1909 wheat cent and even though the chances of this being that coin are slim, I feel vindicated.

    Cashed in last year's clad...

My 100'th 90% silver from the park.

The first one today was 100, the other three were just icing on the cake. Here's the breakdown: 5 halves (1940 to 1950), 13 quarters (1928 to 1962), A one and two reale (both dated 1778), 83 dimes (1900 to 1964) What a long, strange trip it's been.

First semi-key date coin and more

Hit the park this morning with some different settings. I don't know that they made a difference but I walked away a very happy camper with a 1932S GW. I also found a 1942D merc, a 1956 wheat and two musket balls. This was my best hunt in the park for quite a while and testament as to why I...

Cool spill in the park this morning.

One copper wheat was stuck to a "43 steel wheat (my first) but they came apart in my fingers and another wheat was stuck firmly to a "45 merc. All in the same hole. That just made my morning and the rest of my day. :smoke: HH, Steve in PA

A couple keepers from the park

The park I hunt doesn't typically produce coin this old so these were both bonus digs.

    Throwing Elton a bone...

This is my 90th silver coin from the same park. I'd really like to hit 100 but I've been seeing diminishing returns there lately. I snuck out a few days ago for a cool, overcast morning hunt but the overall heat and dry ground is what's been keeping me idle. This Roo has a circular scratch that...

    Interesting relic

The HD in our Mac took a dive and I just got my photo capabilities back up and running. I found this a few days ago, along with a couple indian heads. I thought for sure it was military but it is not. It's a saw medallion, the ornate side of a rivet that holds the two halves of the handle and...
