    Half Hour Relic Hunt

    Started out in the orchard on the farm I live on and found the saw looking thing. Out in the open fields found the other things. Going home found the nickel on the saw thing. It was a half hour of cheap thrills. LOL.

    I don't know what these are for

    The quarter is just for size. The large square thing has four short legs. Don't know what is was for. The buckle thingy has a sliding middle bar. Any idea what it was for? Found on the farm I live on with the V3i.

    V3i and VX3 question

    I just read the manual. It says when you enable the wireless headphones, it disables the speaker. I wonder if you will have to do a system reset? Maybe you think you are disabling the wireless to hear the speaker but are missing something? Wish I could help. I've never had a VX3.

    Took out my new to me V3i

    I did as you said to do today but was using the 10" D2 coil today. I was able to run sense at 90 but ran rx gain around 10. Two targets were about 8 inches deep, The token and silver cufflink.     Got my Whites 5.3 coil for my V3i today

    I am soooo impatient with a small coil. I was hoping to dissect this trashy part of this park yesterday hoping to find some gold rings. I find I have to slow my swing way down. If you have any favorite settings for the 5.3 I would certainly appreciate it.

    Hudson's thing. What was it used for?

    Found this today. Never found one before. I believe it is made of thin copper. The nickel is for sizing which I found today too. Anybody know what it could have been used for? On the right on the Hudson's thing are two tabs that can be bent underneath.

    I've had different Minelabs from the XS to the SE and SE Pro, E-trac and Muskateer. The SE and SE Pro barely hit my 9+ inch deep penny and dime. My V3i not only hits them well, I can lift the coil (10" D2 coil) three inches above the ground and can still hit them and get a VDI. I still have my...

    Yea, I too have an E-trac and my V3i hits harder on my deeply buried coins in my coin garden. However, for some strange reason, I have better hits with the 10" D2 coil on my deepies with my V3i than with my 13" ultimate. That doesn't make sense to me.
