    Ok, After a year with my V3, I have still not sent it in for the software updates. I never felt it necessary, because I have had great finds.     Taking the Vision to Myrtle Beach next week! Tips?

    Any of you Beach Hunters have any tips for me? I am going to try to get out at sunrise(for washed in stuff), and around 6:00 PM for lost items. Richard@Backwoods has already told me to take a small camp type shovel instead of a scoop. Any other tips for setting up the Vision for best results??

    Humor me, Why do I need to hear Threshold?

    OK, I have turned the Threshold down on C&J because that is what I use the most. If I have disc. out everything below +10 why do I need to listen to that constant noise of the threshold. I am new, and maybe missing a key point of Threshold in the first place?:shrug:

    Different tones in C&J mode?

    I may be missing it somewhere in the manual. I want to hear different tones in Coin & Jewelry mode. All targets are the same tone. Please excuse me if this is a dumb question, as I am a newbie to this hobby and the Vision. I found out how to change the pitch, but that is all. I would rather hunt...

    First hunt with new F5?? Newb messed up!!

    OK, I am a newbie and bought an advanced machine, the F5, and probably messed up. I can't pinpoint. I am digging to find nothing. I may be getting interference?? changed freq. to no avail. I just can't seem to "understand" my machine settings. Ex: gain, threshold, etc... I know the basic use...
