    AT PRO/AT GOLD Connector - Seat all the way!

    When connecting your AT Pro or AT Gold coils and headphones, be sure to seat then all the way in to the barrel before turning the seating ring. The o-ring goes inside the connector barrel. I had mine loose. So I doubt if it was waterproof at that point. Please see this video towards the end...

    AT Pro warms up the day

    44 degrees, wind off the lake at 20, gray, overcast. Using the Garrett headphones as earmuffs. Searching a swim beach/picnic area near Granbury, TX. Trying out new AT Pro with the 5X8 DD coil for the first time. Experimenting with the different modes. Getting used to it. Kept finding pennies...

    Can't decide AT PRO or GTI 2500

    Weighing the nice display of the 2500 against listening to the different many sounds of the AT Pro. Which one gives more imformation to dig or not? Thanks

    I use a piece of cardboard

    When digging a hole in a nice lawn, I unfold a piece of cardboard I carry in my Garrett backpack to place the dirt on. Makes filling in the hole easier, neater.

    Propointer Recommended

    I can't imagine hunting without a Propointer. Makes the job so easy, especially when you find a "BB" as thay are very hard to see in the hole.

    ACE 250 operation

    I found that pinpointing gets more precise. Get on top of the target, then press the pinpoint button and hold it down. You get a faint tone when directly over it.
