    90% silver coins consist of silver coins minted before 1965 $1.40 face value combination contains 1 once of silver. 40% silver coins were minted between 1965 and 1970. $3.40 face value combination contains 1 ounce of silver.

    Silver Question

    I found a silver pendant that the back is worn very bad. You can tell by looking its very old. The weather didn't change the color at least. How may I tell for certain if this is silver without the .925 stamp?
