    Greetings from OZ. I've been in the doldrums for some months now, mainly due to lack of detecting sites in my area. Lots of detectorists, beaches sanded in , etc.,etc. It has been said that one in four caravanners have a detector on board these days......we have about 9 Caravan Parks here...

    VX3 2.5kHz Frequency

    I have an area where there are a few deep silvers that are very elusive. Because the 2.5kHz Frequency is best for silvers & copper, would I be better off to run the VX3 in this frequency only, or is there a better adjustment using the three frequencies?? OR......maybe the DFX in the 3kHz...

    Simply, It won't pick them up at 4". Over here in OZ we have 2 small pre-decimal coins..threepence & sixpence.Early ones were 92% silver, & later ones 50%. The VX3 picks up all quite readily when the coins are on the surface. Bury the coins at 4"....NADA....will not pick them up at all. This...

    Bigger Concentric Coil for F70

    Does anyony know if a bigger CONCENTRIC coil is available for the F70. I have the standard 10" (9 3/4") concentric, but want to go bigger. Cover more ground more quickly = more coins.:detecting:
