Lower tone pitch for hearing impaired

I also have some Aventree low latency headphones that I use for watching TV, which are bluetooth. I was also thinking of trying them out. The next time I go out I am also going to use the WM 08 module which I believe will be faster responce than the ML 80 headphones. Has anyone noticed any...

Lower tone pitch for hearing impaired

I haven't had a chance to try it yet, but I changed my tone for 21 ID's and higher to 15, and ID's 11-20 to tone 10. Hopefully this helps me pick up signals I may have been missing/

Lower tone pitch for hearing impaired

I've had my 800 Equinox for about 3 years now, and have left the tone pitch for target ID's 21 and higher at the highest tone pitch of 25 and volumn at maximum. I wear hearing aids, and have lost most of my high frequency hearing. I think I'm missing a lot of deep weak signals. Has anyone in...

    Yesterdays river park find

No where near any military base. The park is good size and gets visitors from all over. The area I found the pin gets a lot of homeless people who camp out at the park.

    Yesterdays river park find

I found this pin yesterday with my equinox 800, 1-2 inches deep with a VID number or 21-22 using Park 1. The pin is 2 1/2" X 13/16" and appears to be brass. I did a Google search this morning, and I believe it's called a Army Senior Aviator pin. I don't know if this was for a pilot or crew...

A little clad and an even tinier silver ring.

Good job. I also found a very skinny man's size ring a couple months ago. Like you, it was also around 5-6 inches down and a little bent up. Couldn't really tell what it was at the time until I got it home and cleaned it up. Had to get out a magnifying glass, and could just barely make out...

Need help with identy and information on a coin.

Unfortunatly I didn't find this coin myself, but I was metal detecting at my sons 1900 Victorian home today when a neighbor who saw me, asked if I knew anything about coins. I told him I knew a little. He then opened his wallet and showed me this coin. I first thought it was a silver 50 cent...

    New park finds

Draco, you got it right that that coin was from Thailand. I started doing some searching on line because I wanted to know what 1 Baht was wourth in U.S. As I looked at 1 Baht coins, none of them, along with your images were exactly the same as my find. It took me awhile, but I finally found a...

    New park finds

Funny you mentioned that. Last March my son and family purchased a 1900 Victorian home in Grants Pass, Oregon, 24 miles away, and I used my metal detector on their front yard and found this coin.

    New park finds

Thanks Draco for coming up with the information. Those images are much better than I can see on the coin. Seems like that coin was a long way from home to find it at a Oregon river park.

    New park finds

I went to my local park yesterday with my Equinox 800 and have a couple finds that I could use some help with. The first is a coin slightly smaller than a dime that I don't have a clue on the denomination or country of orgin. It was reading about 18 on VID . The second is a cross which is...

    Found a good luck charm

I think there may be a possibility of finding a site that may show history of the different NFL pins made. The back of the pin is stamped Team NFL with also a small stamp SF1. I might look into that.

    Found a good luck charm

I know this will not be considered a great find for most of you. I live in Southern Oregon now, and I have been a huge SF 49er fan almost all my life (73 years young). Including 9 years of season tickets in the 80's. While metal detecting near the Rogue River on Jan 14th just before NFL...

Equinox number 4 breaks down..I show how to fix it...

If that's all it would cost to replace the control pod and also get a new 3 year warranty, that's the way I would probably go.

Equinox number 4 breaks down..I show how to fix it...

My warranty runs out in March. Last October my screen died and I sent the detecter head to the Detector Center and they promptly sent me a new replacement. My third headphones are being delivered Wednesday. The previous 2 had the power button go bad so they couldn't be turned on. The...

    Is this ring gold?

My son and daughter in law recently purchased a Victorian home near me that was built in 1900 and they invited me to try metal detecting in their yard. A couple days ago I spent about 1 1/2 hr searching their front yard and found a few interesting items including a 45-70 shell case a Chinese...

Can anyone help me identify this find

Hey, that's a good answer. I'll just put this with my unusual finds. It seems like you never know what will show up when dig.

Can anyone help me identify this find

I believe their metal. They have a gold metallic color. The ends have faceted angles almost like crystals. I guess I could pull one out of the cluster to see if it it will be picked up with my detector. On second thought, they don't come apart that easy. There's a hole in the middle of...
