1907 - Indian Head Cent From Old Church

I just went back to the old church where I found a Standing Liberty Quarter a few weeks ago. This church was built in 1843 and still holds services every Sunday.
The church is up a mile long gravel road on top of a hill back in the woods. A real secluded area with huge oak trees in the parking lot and an old cemetery out back.

I only had time for a short hunt this time - about an hour - but I dug 1907 Indian Head - a 1940 Wheat - two 1944 Wheat's and a few clad. All of the coins are in pretty nice condition.
For some reason - this is only the second Indian Head Cent that I've dug so far - this is the only one I've dug with a readable date on it.

Congrats on the nice indian and the wheats.
I'm beginning to like old churches myself.

Yes, I think there are some more nice old coins to be found at this church !
I plan on hunting this site through out this season - "low and slow" - and we'll see what we can find !
