The beautiful 1893 penny was the only find in a cornfield where a school once was. It was the second time I'd hunted that spot and the only coin so far that it has yielded.

The great looking 1911d Barber Dime came out of a park hunt this last Wednesday and was the first signal within 30 seconds of turning on my machine. The seated dime came from the same hunt as well as 2 wheats, the 1885 IH and the 1898 V nickel.

Seated is rare in central Nebraska and is the 4th seated coin of my detecting career....so far.

The sales tokens (2 from Colorado and 1 from Missouri) were all found here as well. I see people finding tax tokens quite regularly, but I've not found a Nebraska one and do not know if they ever produced any.

For anyone interested. The log work is done for our house and were are beginning "phase 2" which is digging the basement and landscaping work. I'll try and get some pictures as we progress.

Thanks for everyone's stories and pictures of your finds. I check in nearly everyday. This is a great hobby and you're all great friends.:goodnight:

Thanks for the pictures. HH

I get a rush everytime I see a 1800's date on a Silver coin - congrats on the great finds ! !

Nice oldies!
That 1893 Indian is in great shape and congrats on another Seated. Seateds are a rare find in my area also.
Those long gone one room school houses are a hit and miss. Searched one of those sites last Spring and all i found was a button, corroded nails and pieces of a pot belly stove.

good grief man four hunts? thats awesome! :clapping: really nice stuff.

Those are some great finds! Congrats and hope there's more to come!

That's pretty impressive for only 4 hunts.....!!!!!!!!!! NICE stuff!
