I dont normally post on this site but here goes. I dug all these in front of my buddies with T2s. The E-trac is a unreal machine once you learn it. Thanks for checking this out.

I hear you! I had been a dedicated Whites user for 28 years. Four different machines, all the way up to the DFX.
Went with the E-trac last november, and have just been amazed at what I have been able to find hunting behind
all of my previous detectors. Whites are great, and I found loads with them, but for coin hunting, the E-trac is
leaving them in the dust!!

Simply put, WOW! What a day. I am very jealous. I can't get out because the ground is too hard here. After seeing your post I am definitely going on a hunt tomorrow. Thanks for the inspiration and for sharing. HH Marc

Your in a great spot !!!!

Thanks for all the replies. To me these spots are where everything comes together, though I had no idea it was going to turn out this well. Now I just need to get permission for the other side of the road and I should be set for a while, Thanks again.

TerraDigger- these coins varied a lot in depth. The seated Quarter was only about 3 inches in the ground next to a stump hole. While one of the dimes was as deep as 10 inches. There has been some soil moved around this place but not where I was digging. And over all the soil is very sandy. Most of the coins where in the 5-8 inch range.

Thanks everyone for all the kind comments. I kinda ashamed to so but I forgot how much I like this Forum.

Thanks again

Ynp204.....the seated quarter I found last year in a sidewalk parking strip........was 2" deep and 1" from a edge of a tree stump hole:)....lol......how interesting. Everything else in the strip was in the 1940's range. The quarter was a Fine+ and not some really worn coin lost in the 1940's. Thanks for your reply and sharing the adventure.

WOW!!!

Keep your finds coming. I don't really go to too many other sites, so it's good to see what's been unearthed!

Thanks for the pictures and congratulations on some great digs!
