Found my first silver dollar that is and LabradorBob was there to witness my excitement as was I his with a great find. I will let him post about his Seated????It was in some serious trash in a small park less than 20 ft from shelter house and band stand.I chiseled it out of the roots and finally flipped it out of the hole in a scoop of dirt and about fell over.:stretcher:It had been on edge and did not sound good at all.As a matter of fact I thought it might be a bent bolt or the like.I would never have guessed it was a silver dollar in a hundred years .It was about 6-7" and had been gone over many times I am sure but the old E-Trac told me I better check it out and boy am I glad I listened.1884 o and not worth much but it took me a long time to find her and I value her highly:)
Also got the 2 Barber dimes an Indian and a wheaty at same park.Found the 1864,1904 Indians and 2 wheaties just before dark at another park on the way home.

PS notice the rust stain in the middle of eagle. There were so many huge nails in the area I found her I had to use my all metal uni-probe as the Sunray would null out to much.

Good for you Ray! Im in the same boat......Ive found lots of stuff but no silver dollars yet. What kind of pattern were you using? Maybe I can catch up to you one of these days!

Barber dimes, IH cents and a silver dollar! Nice finds. A special congrats on finding the Morgan. As you well know, they are few and far between. When you consider all the others who have likely walked over it, thinking it was a piece of trash, it makes it even more special. HH Randy

A HUGE Congratulations to you Ray! You had a really good day. Thanks for the pictures and the story and I want to congratulate you again on a super find!!!!
