Found my first silver dollar that is and LabradorBob was there to witness my excitement as was I his with a great find. I will let him post about his Seated????It was in some serious trash in a small park less than 20 ft from shelter house and band stand.I chiseled it out of the roots and finally flipped it out of the hole in a scoop of dirt and about fell over.
It had been on edge and did not sound good at all.As a matter of fact I thought it might be a bent bolt or the like.I would never have guessed it was a silver dollar in a hundred years .It was about 6-7" and had been gone over many times I am sure but the old E-Trac told me I better check it out and boy am I glad I listened.1884 o and not worth much but it took me a long time to find her and I value her highly
Also got the 2 Barber dimes an Indian and a wheaty at same park.Found the 1864,1904 Indians and 2 wheaties just before dark at another park on the way home.
PS notice the rust stain in the middle of eagle. There were so many huge nails in the area I found her I had to use my all metal uni-probe as the Sunray would null out to much.
