Got out yesterday with fellow forum members DrBob and Michelob and got off to a decent start at around noon. Then things went down hill till about 7:30 and we hit a nice public hot spot and all found some nice oldies.Even if we had not done as well it would have still been a great time hunting with two other die hard guys,Ray.

Really nice haul there, Ray!! :super:

That '44 merc stands out like a sore thumb amongst all those turn of the century coins.

Nice Haul -

It does look out of place but not as much as DrBobs silver Rosie he will post with his other great finds when he has time I am sure:detecting:I love finding an old site like that one that has had most of the "newer" shallower stuff cleared out of the way by the Whites and or Garrett guys:poke:

great spot and nice detecting - since you hit it so late in the day i bet ya there's more there to be found....

You guys found a great site!! Nice job on the silver and Indians!!!

Great job, Ray! That's a nice haul, for sure.

What do you use to clean your pennies? I always have a hard time getting mine to look good. Yours look great!

Mine usualy are much worse but this site was very kind to them.I use the peroxide method that was posted about a few days ago on this very forum and it works well,Ray.

You sure get the goodies Ray!:please:

Like seeing the pics 'o' junk as well

Thanks Harrold and I have a feeling your efforts will be rewarded soon. All it takes is one good site to to change your "luck" in a big way:detecting:

I never mind digging "junk" as long as I am at an older site that has the potential for older coinage.Very good exercise by the way.

Very nice Ray - that presidential token is really cool !!!
