CTX 3030 Handgrip

Has anyone noticed that it is made out of smooth plastic? Not picking on Minelab, but that seems to be the worst way to make a grip. Hands sweat profusely when detecting. The unit is waterproof to 10 feet and perhaps the grip is designed to accomodate the waterproof seal. But in my opinion, the least they could have done would have been to texture (diamond pattern) the plastic on the grip.
The other thing is that the actual shape of the grip doesn't look ergonomically correct. I may be wrong, but it looks like it would get uncomfortable to the hand due to its shape.

There is a rubber grip in the front. ;-)

Good point, I envision a neoprene handle cover if they don't offer one.

I see your point but imagine finger grip is more needed on the other side where your fingers wrap around. I imagine it is the way it is cause the testers said it was good. Small issue regardless.

Been waiting for someone to notice & make a comment on the handle grip cover (or lack thereof), it's a minor detail easily remedied.-----As far as the handle angle, it looks fine to me--you need to take into consideration the straight shaft design as well (with the grip angle).-----Del
