BOMBSHELL COMING READ CAREFULLY>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
HOT ROCKS..........NO SIGNAL in all metal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
COAL SLAG...........NO Signal either!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Iron meteorite.... I am not telling
Stony Iron Meteorite...........NO SIGNAL!!!!!!
STONY METEORITE..........NO SIGNAL!!!!!!!!
AND THE MOST GROUND BREAKING NEWS OF ALL.........Huge Hot ROCK or coal slag on top of silver quarter...........Just reads the quarter as if the rocks aren't there at all
BAG OF HOT ROCKS>>>>>>NO SIGNAL
1 gallon zip lock bag!!!! Where was that in the sales literature, put a quarter in the bag with the hot rocks, and YES it hits the quarter!!
The hot rocks and coal slag gave NO signal in all metal whatsoever. Occasional tiny null on every 6Th swing or so, yes, nulling in all metal
All these air tests were done outside, noise canceled, auto sens, low trash, neutral ground, ALL METAL in quick mask, fast off, deep off, conduct tones, 3 different PRO 11 coils.
When I tried these tests in coin pattern the numbers were sloppier (jumped around a bit) than in all metal
Whomever decided to put that disc line at the top right of the screen obviously did not test large US Silver on edge....I still haven't figured out what else hits there I thought it was for hot rocks, but they don't register.
No coins registered farther than 8 inches (dollars and halves) most would not ID further than 6 inches
When I first started testing, the numbers jumping around and weird on edge results made me think I had a bum coil, same results all three coils though.
Now, I did all this work, so someone tell me if you get similar results on your machine please.
Next is the trash list, not tonight though. One things for sure though, pull tabs are coming to a theater near you soon.
As for people saying it doesn't iron false, It did on me, on 5-6 inch Large nails at #'s 1-30 and 1-35 but technically it is not really falsing as there are no coins that hit there according to the list above. Correct me if I am wrong. I dug several large nails today as well as every bloody kind of pull tab imaginable from 12-21, all the way up and through 12-30, most were the same damn tab and hit in 6 or 7 locations all on the 12 ferrous line
. How any one is using this and digging no trash, I can't figure. I got 2 pennies, modern, a modern dime, several pieces of small aluminum, And 1 very nice V nickel " 3 inches deep" I could have found with my SE, I think 1892 (in the truck), 2 modern nickels and a bag o trash, most of which I dug to see what it twas. As for going into a park, switching this on and having deepies and silver jump in your bag, it's not happening, my deepest target so far has been a 6 inch deep shotgun shell, but the soil is fairly dry and I have been using fast, difficult soil, dense trash, auto sens +/- 1, coin pattern with that line edited out on the top right, who knows if these settings are right or wrong. God, I want to hunt in all metal, with these pretty tones.
On the MLO site there is a video of a guy swinging his ETrac over a coin AND a Dargone nail the size of yer pinkie and he is hearing a clean signal with his coil12-14 inches above them both. HOW COME I CAN'T GET AN AIR TEST SIGNAL ON MINE ABOVE 8 INCHES??? I am beginning to worry there is something wrong with the way I have it set up or the machine itself, regardless of rain, dry soil is not going effect an air test two feet off the ground, I am at a loss.
