Found A 1939 Mercury Dime Yesterday

Winters really set in here but we've been lucky so far - only about 2" of snow on the ground. Its been around 12 to 15 degrees at night and in the low 20's during the days.
As long as we don't get a lot more snow - I'm going to try to keep getting out and hunt. You can still dig in areas where the grass is taller and in the woods where theres a lot of leaves.
Went to an old park yesterday and found a 1939 Mercury Dime, a 1940 Wheat Cent and four other newer clad coins. The wheat cent is in real rough condition so I did'nt put it in the photo.

Happy Holidays ! --- Mark

Nice Merc. There's just something about those Mercury Dimes that is classy. I always stop and go into a state of wonder when I find one, definetly one of my favorite coins. Congratulations on the "Fix"

Merc dimes are great. The L I B E R T Y around the front is usually what I see first. Cool font. And the coin is just good looking overall.
