Went out to my CW relic site yesterday afternoon and found a couple of bullets and then moved back into the heavy under brush and rooted out all four silvers in about a 30 foot circle .The dimes are 1856 & 1842 o with hole. The half dimes 1857 o in great condition and 1853 with arrows in poor condition but still a thrill to find none the less.
I was hunting in TTF wide open except 3/4 of top line disc-ed out with right 1/4 open for big silver. The dimes ID-ed at 12-42,43 and the half dimes were 12-34 and 12-37 on the poor one.
I hunted for over 35 years and finally found my first 2 half dimes last year and one was at this site.Never dreamed I would find 2 more in the same day.I found all 4 coins in 1/2 hour as I was texting some buddies when I found each coin and it was a 31 min. spread from first to last text.

Congratulations Ray on your for seated ladies, TTF rocks in iron.

What a perfect day. CW relics and silver to boot. Looks like the some of the bullets may have been drops and with silver around, I'm guessing that you may have been hunting a camp.

That will be a day to remember for a long time to come!
To find a seated is just awesome! let alone four!
and to top that, two of them half dimes!
Besides a few civil war relics.
wow, what a day i would say!
It has to take you back to the days of when the coins were lost,
Many congrats my friend, hope to see a gold coin in your future.

Very nice recoveries, to say the least. I happen to think those seated ladies are the most beautiful US coins ever minted. To have found four of them, and two of them half-dimes, all in a span of 31 minutes is awesome! Congrats on having a hunt that you won't likely ever forget. HH Randy
