Fun in the SUN hunt with Ray-Mo

Had a great time Yesterday hunting with Ray.
Hit some old Parks, dug a lot of holes, sweated out about two gallons of water! LOL
Then after the sun started to go down, here came these huge Mosquitoes.
Found a 1924 D merc and four toasted wheats,a little heart charm, clad and some junk.
My most intriguing find was a little lead seal that says:
Member,Western Association.
I tried looking it up on the net,it kept leading me to a western Association baseball in Kansas,
which is where we were hunting!
Also what seemed to be a clad dime, some kid had put on the R.R. Track,it was slick as glass.
Best of luck to all,
Watch those skeeters!

Nice finds and a very interesting lead seal. I got a camelback last year so I could stay hydrated and not have to stop detecting.

Congratulations on the finds Labrador Bob. Thanks for the pictures. Keep the mosquitoes down there though...they haven't come out here yet. I 'spect it won't be long though. Hit 95

I got me one of those OFF fans that you put a disc in and it works great. Does'nt bother my machine and it will keep those creatures away. Works much better than any spray. HH :minelab:

It is worth the sweat and mosquitoes to discover good finds. Better than 10" of snow. Congratulations!
