Future Proposed Update / Feature "Wish List" Collection . . . . .

I would like to see some sort of attachment to widen the base. When I try to mount my video camera using a reticulating arm, the detector tips over when laid down because the base isn't wide enough to support the weight of the video camera.

Or make/integrate a standard mount for a small camera to film hunts. More film of Deus in action = more sales. Make it easy for us to film our outings.

Otherwise it's the best dang machine I've ever used.

Thanks,

How about a "Notes" area in the profile or such area to put notes for programs say like I got a prog for the 11" coil or say you got a prog and you can list a tweak or 2 for a specific area you hunt.

As a new Deus user who has been hunting for quite a long time with a White's Spectrum V3i, whenever I happened to be quite deep into any number of option settings menus, I got really accustomed to simply "squeezing the trigger" and INSTANTLY being returned to the HUNT mode, without ever having to do MULTIPLE button pushes to return to that hunting mode.. With all their of their considerable skillsets, I would think it would be a no-brainer to have the Deus software techs create a SINGLE button function that would allow me to get back to hunt screen with ONE button push instead of multiple pushes, such as holding the return button down for extended period of time or something else like that. That would be a fantastic time saver in the field!

Also if possible, I would like the clock function to be settable to 12hr/24hr formats..no biggie, but it would be nice.

Create a pulse induction coil for use with the Deus. It should be easy to do and it would make the Deus a true surf and gold field hunter. With the units light weight, It would make it a back packable detector with a purpose.

I am not sure if many are really reading these much anymore its gotten quite long ( a lot of Pages) however I am going to have at it anyway.

- An optional remote with a bigger screen
- Software to setup programs on your computer and upload
- The ability to set an alarm on the clock
- Depth in cm and inches
- This one is out there but I do think the technology is available to do it, and it would be cutting edge,
Voice Activated Commands, "Deus pinpoint" "Deus increase sensitivity 1" you get the idea.

All the Best
Bill

1- a water proof control box.

2- a smaller hard cases for carrying on plane.

3- lighter WS5 headphones, more "grip" so they don't fall off as easy, , and ear muffs that do NOT fall off all the time.

4- A foam hand grip.

5- possibly blue tooth function for updates and to share programs with other users control box.

Otherwise it's a great machine.

Thanks

I'd love a desktop or smartphone Deus emulator. By that I mean a visual emulator that has all the menu items and settings as the remote (and MS4). The purpose would be to allow users to create custom programs on the emulator and then upload them to the Deus via the USB cable. Thinking that a desktop interface would be a lot faster for creating multiple "test programs," changing multiple settings, playing back sample tones, etc. any tweaking in the field could then be backed up to the computer. And programs could be shared more quickly between hunters.

An audio response that would go into negative numbers that would make deep/small targets loud and shallow/large targets quieter. This way it would be easier to target the deeper and presumably older targets.

I know it's nothing major but the ability to set an alarm/timer with the on screen clock,so them last hour digging don't turn into hours like mine seem too lol i know a few off my deus using friends would find this little tweak helpful too

There are a ton of good ideas in this (huge) thread.

Being able to mange programs on the PC would be most welcome. Not sure why they didn't design this from the get-go. A simple microSD card could have sufficed. This would also make it much easier to share programs by email, websites, etc. An XML-based file format could be used - something simple.

A lot of people want a small "sniper" coil. I wonder if this presents a problem because of the batteries and circuitry that need space. If that's the case, they could use space in the lower rod for batteries or whatever. There would need to be a cable from the rod to the coil.

As swinging it with my right hand is killing me

I wish that the learning curve was not so long (getting to know the sounds, good bad and the iffy signals as a lot of them are that close that they sound the same)

PS
I hope that you guys are finding some nice things be you left or right handed. Les

strange that the x-y screen dont appear in the manual ,why is it a closely guarded secret ?1 button access and exit is desperately needed as the TID is wildly inacurate , a stainless steel bolt can have a TID of 99 ,same as silver

on second thoughts just ditch the numbers and horseshoe and go across to hodograph similar to the aka hodograph as more info is available at a quick glance

theres still hope as V4 is on the back burner again ,ditch the clock and add a hodograph IMo

1. Better ID 2. Better depth indication 3. In Pitch mode: Reverse the sound so that deep is loud and shallow is soft, also the ability to notch out shallow targets.
