Hello fellow E-Trac(ers).

About 3 weeks worth of finds. A few first for me. Chiefly, is my first SEATED LIBERTY DIME
. [attachment 174005 coins049.JPG] 1877cc mint, also my first coin with the Carson City mintmark. Thought I was digging a wheat as the sound and numbers were riding lower due to the dryness of the soil we have at this time. She was about 7 inches down. Found the seated, the 1901o barber dime (also my first O mintmarked coin) [attachment 174006 coins050.JPG]along with the 188? V nickel, 1896 IH and about 6 wheats in the same 2 hour hunt this last Saturday.
On the 11th I hunted a new park. Roamed around about a hour before I found my first coin. Another 1896 IH, followed by the 1898 barber dime, then 2 ft. later the 1898 barber quarter (yep, nicked her neck slightly) on edge and under a root. Seven feet later pulled up the 1875 Shield Nickel. [attachment 174008 coins044.JPG]Another first for me. She's well worn and I really had to angle, wet down, dry and get the light right to get a readable date, but 1875 is what I came up with. Followed her up with another Indian...the 1906. Lastly I pulled out very cool SIMPLEX SHARPENER pat. date Dec. 11, 06 No. 650. This went down as one of my most memorable hunts. I only dug 1 Memorial and 1 clad dime. Heck; I didn't even find a wheat. 5 old coins and only 1 in the 1900's. The pencil sharpener is one of my all time favorite finds. I ran across that signal and did not dig it the first time, because it was a strange sound and I believed it to be a junk target, due to the corroded razor blade[attachment 174010 coins045.JPG]. After I'd found the old coins, I hit that signal again and noticed the depth being about where I'd found the older coins (6-8") and dug it. All I can say is that usually the sounds that are "curiously" unusual deserve to be dug.
Another kindof cool find was the PROF. LONGS MAGNETIC COMB. (See pencil sharpener picture) I found it in some research and it claimed to be "unbreakable"....well that is all I found. Still glad I found the name part though.
Hunted a friends' house and found about 5 of the wheats, 3 IH's and the 1910 barber dime. I had to put in a replacement coins in the photo, as I gave my friends all the coins. There wasn't really anything too unusual there, just thought it would be fun to hunt their yard. Turned out, I was right.
There are around 34 wheats. Most notable is the 1922d I call it a No. 3 weak die D. Also is the fact that out of those 34 wheats, I've found a total of 7 - 1919's (all 3 mintmarks). Other Relics not pictured are a silver Miraculous Medal by the Creed company, a G.L.P co. gold filled cufflink, a dog pictured bridal ornament, copper braided ring, and an aluminum JESUS SAVES cross, an AVON bullet sample lipstick container and a few more odds-n-ends.
I accidently deleted some video footage and am trying to work to get that stuff back

. About the only full dig I know you'll want to see is me nicking the 1898 Barber Quarter.
We'll see if we can get it restored.
Thank you guys for all your videos and pictures that you post! One more of my goals is a WALKING LIBERTY HALF.
I'd really like to unearth one of those coins. Of course I'll take any silver still!!!!
