got out today and found some oldies

weather was great today, even had to shed some clothes as the coveralls got a little hot! Have permission on this old house that I've hunted several times before with my old Tesoro and only found some new crap with it. Took the mighty etrac along with my new used WOT for a spin and dug everything but one of the buffies and the quarter. The Wot got heavy after 3 hrs so for the last hour I slapped on the 6x8 (also new to me) and snagged the quarter and another buffie. Pretty amazing how the Trac will grab some of those deeper ones....I luv it!

It sure was nice to get out and play with the new coils.....

Some nice finds there and what looks to be a productive site.
You're right to try different coils and also different settings and pound that site til it gives up all its oldies.

Thanks guys.....

Went back today for another 3.5hrs and re-hit the place with everything I got and also some TTF. Best I could do was 3 more wheaties (1916, '30 '5 and a Washington State tax token. I'll hit the front one more time on the weekend (there's a biz right there) when nobody is around but I think I've done about the best I can do?

Got 3 more days of good weather then back to snow/cold.....might head into the big city for an overnighter?

Sure is nice to get out for a change.......
