Almost 5 hours of hard hunting in to tall grass at another old no longer used fair ground. The hay was cut last fall and now it is covered with 3"-5" stubble
Makes it hard to get any depth but I am still happy with my finds. The one seated dime is wore slick on the face and the other is a 1876 plain and the quarter that" DrBob"
has been searching for can just be made out to be a 1917 plain.Labrador Bob the maps moderator was kind enough to join me for the last few hours of the hunt.I hoped he would hit a nice silver but it was not to be this time. Now I need a hot shower to ease my aching back,Ray.
PS Note the rust stains on both dimes
