Woke up and looked at the digital clock. It showed the time as 12:13 am. I thought to myself, oh a nickel, rolled over and went back to sleep.
I think I love this hobby!

well, I must admit I go to bed most nights with high tones of deep silver ringing in my ears trying to memorize the tones and hoping for dreams of finding seateds!!! :goodnight:

I knew you flew from prior posts. Just thought I would throw that in the mix of the post. You look too young to be going to bed before 12 o'clock anyway. Or was it the other 12? HH :minelab:
 
LOL Hershey, got to get to bed early so I can hunt all day! In Portland, Or. right now on layover. Should have brought my Etrac!

The husband and I still are laughing about your post, two days after reading it

Just want to share that I went detecting with a friend at a old and a previous very successful area when I
got a reading of 12:12 and 12:13 and I said nickel and he pulled it out of the ground saying fat IH and I said look again
and it was a 1891 V nickel

HUH???--Whatddya mean layover in Portland & no Etrac???---I thought you said "have Etrac will travel"!! :crylol:------Well, OK----bring the seven hundred bucks & come on down to Baker City.---I'll have you findin (shallow) 12:46's & 47's in your sleep in no time!----They'll all be clad but hey---ya can't have everything!------When you wake up & look at that clock you will be able to say---"Hey, that ain't no piddlin nickel--that's a QUARTER!! :bouncy:---------We may be a nutty bunch but don't we have fun!!! ;)----------Del

My last post was referencing this post. I should never have tried to reply on my phone while in a van going to the layover hotel in NYC.
You may never look at 12:13 the same again. I know I won't.
I have enjoyed reading all of the replies!! But it really did happen that way!
