Headphone Suggestions

I am working out a deal to trade my SE toward a new E-Trac and was wondering what headphones are best suited for the machine? And what model of the particular brand? THANK YOU!!!!

Gray Ghosts
Killer Bees
SunRay
etc?????????

Duke I use the Sunrays and love how crisp the sound is. I think it's hard to go wrong with any of the ones you mentioned however I strongly advise finding a local dealer and testing them out. Everyone's hearing is different so what sounds crisp to me may sound like garbage to you.

No doubt about it Sunray Golds are crisp and sound better than anything I've tried. Yokes are a little flimsy though,or maybe I'm a little ruff on things.

I have a set of Grey Ghost Ultimates that I use with my E-Trac - really like them !

I think everyone has their favorite head phone - probably any of the high end models will do the job.

Maybe try going to a local dealer and seeing what head phone the most comfortable to you.

No sense putting a cheap pair of speakers on an expensive stereo - right.

Which ones are you using with the SE? If they work and you like them then they will be "best suited" for the E-Trac. Other than that, headphones are a preference and IMO the 3 you listed all work fine with the E-Trac. As Agile said, it would be great if you had a place to go so you could listen to them before you buy. Maybe a Metal detecting club if you have one nearby?

If you wait till you come to the hunt you can stop at our dealer here and try on 5 or 6 different models and pick one for the hunt. Then you'll know if it's also comfortable.

I've been using the Koss that came packed with my SE. I haven't "heard what I've been missing" yet.

I hope I have a machine to come to the hunt with!!!!
