I want to tell you that I own both machines you are talking about. Without a lot of discussion, you will be happier with the Explorer SE Pro. The new coil rules. And the SE is a power plant. Granted, in the field where you can swing your heart out. The T2 gives good depth and covers a lot of ground in a short time. Want to buy one? The old woman on TV had it right whe she said "where's the Beef?" It's in the Explores.

Larry, I'll be in Lowville, next to the Adirondac Forrest in 3 weeks, and wonder if you can tell me where I can find an internet site to help me find areas to hunt up that way? There have to be many sites around there, but I am from the deep south and don't know anything about that area. Thanks. Reggie
For relic and coin hunting I have found that theNautilus IIBa is the very deepest I have found. I do use the DFX, MXT and Explorer SE, but none of them can discriminate a deep coin (12") or relic in Lousiana, low mineralization soil like the Nautilus. I was shocked to see it discriminating as deeply or more deeply than all metal mode! This thing will give me a discriminate signal on a silver dime, clad dime, clad quarter and EVEN a nickel at 12 ", and I mean a GOOD signal at that depth. Reggie

Sorry Reggie, I really don't. We didn't have time to do any hunting when we were there. It was a quick trip to the Saratoga area to pick up a toy hauler for our bike and back home again all in three days. Never mind that it was in February when we were there. I would just knock on doors and ask to hunt at what looks like a good spot. We do that often and get a no once in a while, but more often than not, we get the big OK.
