I exhumed a large 115 year old lady from her iron grave along with 2 Indians & Merc :goodnight:

I went to the park where I found the 3 barber dimes and 3 Indians along with the 17 gram 10 K ring and pulled a few more goodies. The half was about 7" nearly on edge in heavy iron as the rust stains show. This was in an area of the park that has been hammered the most for 40 years .She was just to well masked until the E-Trac passed over her is the only explanation for not being found a long time ago . Also found the ring in a rusted up tin box at 3" and thought I had another gold ring but it was only gold plated.I videoed the opening of the box in case it was filled with treasure but it was not to be this time:sadwalk:Will post video later when I have more time,Ray.

Looks like she was well hidden,Great find, and in really nice shape too.
I thought the one thingy was a condenser, then realised it was a makeup brush.
The indians are great too.
can't wait to see the video.

I do not want to wreck the value to badly but would love to get rid of some of the rust.I do not normally sell any of my finds unless they will sell for over $100.00 as I am not that serious of a collecter and 100 plus dollars keeps my wife off my back about "wasting" so much time detecting:surrender:I feel this coin will go over the limit with a little less rust:thumbup:

Ray -

Exceptional find! I find it amazing at that number of finds made by my Minelab where the silver comes out with rust stains all over it. They really are exceptions at pulling the good stuff out of the junk.

Congrats on your 'Large Old Lady'. :bouncy: And thanks for sharing. Always a bonus to jump online and see how everybody else is doing.

AWESOME!
I think I'll attack the local park. I have not been there this year with the new E-trac.

Thanks for the pictures Ray! The indians must've been feeding your lady well....she's fat!!!

Man that is a great looking Half. The detail is very good for being in the ground for all these years. Most likely being on edge did her some justice .

Man that is an awesome Half! And a new Orlean's to boot! I personally think the rust stain's look cool. It give's the coin character! But I can understand if you are looking to sell the coin.
